삶에 가장 소중(所重)한 때(the most precious time in life

사람이 세상을 살아가노라면, 힘들 때가 있으면 편안(便安, comfort)할 때도 있고,

울고 싶은 날이 있으면 웃을 날도 있고, 궁핍(窮乏, destitute)할 때가 있으면

넉넉할 때도 있어 그렇게 삽니다.

(When people live in the world, they feel comfortable when they are

having a hard time, There are days when I want to cry, there are days

when I laugh, If there are times when you are in need, there are times

when you have enough, so you live like that.)

젊은 시절에는 자식을 키우느라 많이 힘이 들었어도 자식들이 다 커서 각자 제 몫을

하는 지금에는, 힘들었던 그때가 왠지 좋은 때 같고 한창 일할 때에는 몇 달 푹

쉬었으면 좋겠다 하지만, 부르는 이 없고 찾는 이 없는 날이 오면 그때 가 제일 좋은

시절이었다고 생각한 답니다.

(In my youth, I had a hard time raising my children, but they are my

children Now that we're all grown up, we're all on our own,

I think it's a good time. I hope you can rest for a few months when

you're working hard but, I think it was the best time when there was no

call or seeker.)

우리네 살아가는 모습 중에서 힘들 때와 궁핍(窮乏)할 때가 어려운 시절 같지만,

그래도 참고 삶을 더 사노라면 그때의 힘듦과 눈물이 오늘의 편안(便安, comfort)

함이고, 그때의 열심 (熱心, enthusiasm)과 아낌이 오늘의 넉넉함이 되었음을

알게 됩니다.

(It seems like a difficult time in our lives when we are in need, But if you

endure it and live your life more, then the hardships and tears are today's

comfort, We see that the enthusiasm and generosity of that time have

become the generosity of today.)

힘들고 어렵다고 다 버리고 살 수 없고 편안하고 넉넉하다고 다 혼자 가질 수 없는

것은, 우리네 사는 것이 혼자만 사는 것이 아니고 나를 사랑하고 나도 사랑하는

이들이 있어, 서로 소중(所重, precious)한 시절(時節, season)을 가꾸며 함께

살아가기 때문입니다.

(It's hard and difficult, and you can't live without it, and you can't have

it all by yourself because it's comfortable and generous,

There are people who love me and I love them, not just living alone,

This is because we live together while caring for precious times.)
